Mini Investigators – Terms and Conditions
At Mini Investigators, we aim to create a safe and engaging environment for your child to explore and learn. These terms and conditions outline our expectations and policies to ensure that your experience with us is smooth and enjoyable.
Contracts and Personal Information
Parents/guardians must read these terms and conditions and fill out the required personal information form before the first session. This form includes details about payment, expectations regarding behaviour and conduct, and any medical or special needs information necessary for the tutor’s awareness.
It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to inform us about any allergies or medical conditions, as well as other important details about your child’s needs, before any sessions take place.
We follow GDPR standards to ensure the confidentiality of your information. All personal data shared will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties. Mini Investigators is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
All sessions are drop-off, and parents/guardians will not be able to stay during the activities. There is a carpark should you wish to remain close
Invoices and Payment/Charges
Payment for the Mini Investigators sessions are due prior to each session. Single sessions or bulk session packages are available to purchase on the website. Fees for each session will be clearly stated at the time of booking. Cash and cheques are not accepted and all bookings and payments for sessions must be made via the website.
Sessions are of variable length and will run on the dates confirmed at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Missed Sessions
Cancellations by parents are non-refundable, and no session will be ‘rolled over’ to another date if your child fails to attend any session. In the event that a session is missed or cancelled, there will be no refund.
If Mini Investigators must cancel a session for any reason, a make-up session will be scheduled at a mutually agreed-upon time or a full refund given.
Timekeeping and Drop-off
The sessions are of variable length - times will be communicated via email, students should be dropped off on time. Parents/guardians should ensure that their child is picked up promptly at the end of each session.
Please be aware that we cannot extend the session time if your child is late.
Behaviour and Conduct
Mini Investigators aims to provide a positive, engaging learning environment. We expect all children to behave respectfully towards their peers and the instructor. Any disruptive behaviour may result in a warning, and if it continues, the child may be asked to leave the session. No refund will be provided in the case of early dismissal due to disruptive behaviour.
Eating and Drinking
Children should bring only water in a sealed bottle for drinking during sessions.
Additional Information
Should you need to contact Mini Investigators, emails and messages will be responded to within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
By booking and attending a session with Mini Investigators, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
You are not required to return a signed copy of these terms and conditions. By completing the personal information form, you are confirming your agreement to the terms outlined above.
